Shine exists to create a place where individuals with special needs and their families are fully seen, supported, and valued. Through thoughtful environments, intentional relationships, and a deep sense of community, this ministry helps people engage, connect, and grow together.
Our goal is to walk alongside every individual with special needs—getting to know them personally, understanding their unique needs, and creating a Sunday plan that helps them feel welcomed and supported. On Sundays, individuals can join a smaller, sensory-friendly environment in our dedicated Shine spaces or participate in Kids or Student Ministry classes with the help of a one-on-one Shine Buddy.
The Shine Ministry is available during all morning services. Our Shine wing offers self-contained environments designed for every age group. For children from preschool through middle school, Shine Buddies provide personalized, one-on-one support to help each child feel welcomed, engaged, and cared for.
The Shine Ministry is offered during all morning services for children from infants through 4th grade. Offering a self-contained room as well as Shine Buddies which provide one-on-one support for preschoolers through 5th grade. We’re excited to expand these options to our 5 P.M. service soon.
Shine Buddies are available for preschoolers through 5th grade to help them participate and feel included. We also offer a self-contained classroom during our 11 A.M. and 5 P.M. services.
