For years, The Perk has been a place where our church family and our community have gathered, and we’re grateful for the countless relationships that have been built around its tables and for the team who has faithfully served so many along the way.
As we continue pursuing our mission to BE disciples, MAKE disciples, and REACH those who do not yet know or walk with Jesus, we’re always asking how every space on our campus can best serve that mission. With that in mind, The Perk will continue serving through the end of August before closing at the end of the month.
While The Perk is coming to a close, our desire for this space is not. We are excited to reimagine it as a place that continues to foster hospitality, connection, and discipleship — a welcoming environment where people can gather, build relationships, open God’s Word together, and invite others into community.
We’re thankful for all that God has done through The Perk over the years, and we’re looking forward with anticipation to how he will continue to use this space in the next chapter.
What Will This New Space Be?
We’re currently partnering with architects to reimagine this space, and while the final design is still taking shape, our vision is clear: a “living room” for Christ Chapel that includes refreshed comfortable seating, coffee tables, and a self-serve coffee station available throughout the day for anyone who wants to stop by. We’re looking forward to another welcoming space where people are invited to gather, connect, and make disciples.
How Can I Support The Perk Staff?
Please thank them for the years they have faithfully served our church and pray for them during this season of transition. If you have a special memory, something you’ve appreciated, take time to send a handwritten note and let them know of your appreciation and care for them.
When Will This New Space Be Available?
We are currently working with architects and do not yet have a finalized opening date for the new space. In the meantime, we’re thankful the Fireside Lounge remains available for our church family and community to gather and connect.
