In this week’s message we cover three whole chapters of Nehemiah. Chapters 6 & 7 mark a turning point in the book of Nehemiah as Gods people humble themselves before God and turn back toward Him.
Joy is found in God Alone. God causes the Israelites to have joy and commit themselves to joyous praise. He teaches them where to locate their joy and how to have joy that isn’t based on feelings or circumstances but based on an everlasting relationship with Him.
The people of God decide that they want to make a covenant(a promise to God) and they want to do life differently. They want to handle relationships, resources, and work God’s way. In this message we learn how to make God the center of everything.
