We’ve talked about reaching out this Christmas season, but if you’ve been with us for some time, you know that we are also a church dedicated to being disciples of Jesus. Part of reaching is being. So today, we can take time just being the people of God, reflecting on hope and offering him worship.
Gratitude for the Gift of Jesus:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you with hearts full of gratitude for the precious gift of your Son, Jesus Christ. Thank you for the incredible love you have shown us by sending Him to be our greatest hope.
Reflecting on Jesus’ Humanity:
Lord Jesus, as we reflect on your humanity, we are in awe of your choice to humble yourself and become a man. Help us to understand the depth of your love and the significance of your presence in our lives.
Immanuel – God With Us: Dear Immanuel, God with us, we acknowledge your constant presence in our lives. May we always be aware of your nearness and find comfort in the knowledge that you are with us in every moment.
Identification With Our Humanity: Compassionate Savior, you willingly identified with our humanity, sharing in our joys and struggles. As we bring our concerns to you, help us to trust that you understand, and may we find solace in your empathy and understanding.
Hope in the Midst of Challenges: Lord of Hope, in the midst of life’s challenges, we turn to you. Grant us the strength to surrender our worries and doubts, knowing that in you, we find unwavering hope and assurance.
Commitment To Following Jesus: Gracious Lord, as we conclude our prayers, we commit to following you more closely. Help us walk in your footsteps, imitating your love and grace. May we find true fulfillment and eternal hope in our journey with you.
