Jesus continues to prepare his disciples for the grief of the cross, along with the joy that will follow as he provides them peace through overcoming the world.
Now under Roman protection, Paul undergoes a series of interrogations to determine the nature of his arrest and the Jew’s accusations against him. Paul’s Roman citizenship will come into play, as well as his knowledge of the feud between the Pharisees and Sadducees. We will also examine the Jewish and Roman views of “the way” and explore the various characters in the story.
