Our goal is to create a place where every child, student, and adult belongs, and Shine Ministry is how we make that happen. By getting involved, you help individuals with special needs experience church, worship, and community, while also giving parents the freedom to worship knowing their children are safe. You might help lead a mom group or jump into one of the many other opportunities to serve as they arise.
We’re here to walk alongside families who have experienced adoption or foster care, who are in the middle of the process, or who are just curious and want to learn more. You can be part of this journey by serving as a Court Appointed Special Advocate or by taking other steps to advocate for and care for families in our church and community. Come alongside families and show them they’re not alone as they open their homes and lives to the vulnerable.
Every life is valuable, and we’re committed to honoring the dignity of both mother and child. That means protecting the unborn and walking alongside women facing crisis pregnancies. We do this by partnering with pregnancy centers across the Metroplex, providing practical care, guidance, and prayer so no woman or child faces these challenges alone. Be part of serving alongside one of the pregnancy centers in the metroplex.
Through this outreach, women come together to create quilts, each carefully stitched and prepared for mothers facing unexpected pregnancies. These quilts are delivered to local pregnancy centers and provided to every mother who comes in for an ultrasound. Volunteers help by sewing, organizing, and preparing the quilts, and each one reflects the care and effort of the church community.
Stand with survivors, shine a light in the darkness, and join the fight to end human trafficking right here in our community. Through awareness, education, and hands-on service, we can support those affected and help prevent exploitation before it starts. Whether it’s volunteering with local organizations, supporting survivors through practical care, or helping raise awareness, there are real ways to make an impact and protect lives around us.
Serve and honor seniors in our community through local senior centers and Meals on Wheels. These opportunities allow us to meet tangible needs, cultivate meaningful relationships, and faithfully show up for older adults. Through consistent, simple acts of service, we affirm the dignity and worth of every life.
